From velosmith - Years ago, good friend George Noyes (Motorola, Cofidis, Mapei mechanic) built Johan Museeuw a set of wheels that carried him to the top step at Roubaix. Years later he built a set for me that emulated the build spec Johan had. With this batch of Nemesis rims we are going to build a few sets utilizing George’s recipe to celebrate the Spring Classics. Most PROs may have moved on to carbon but in my mind the Classics (Roubaix) are all about a sensible, traditional wheel built to withstand roads never intended for a bicycle. Expect to see a durable hub and the bright green glow of a Vittoria Pave. http://ift.tt/1wBWZV8Vive le Vélo

Seemingly unconcerned with the recent @uniqlousa “Pure Blue Japan Project” debacle, the real #PBJ unveils their new 13 oz. deep indigo cotton jacket. Both the warp and weft have been indigo dyed to achieve the deep color, and the model itself is aesthetically reminiscent of the classic @levis Type II jacket. Full details and images available via the link in our IG bio.

Ronde van Vlaanderen, 1975. Eddy Merckx leads Frans Verbeeck up the Muur.
Also known as the Mur de Grammont or the Muur van Geraardsbergen, this steep climb, sometimes with the addition of the Kapelmuur, was often a decisive part of the Tour of Flanders.
Running to just over one kilometre, much of it cobbled, the slope averages 9.3% and hits a maximum gradient of 19.8%.
